HP uses ASUS Motherboards on all their desktops and has for at least 3
years. However some abilities of the boards may be constrained (For
example, my HP a1710n's MB is capable of SATA II 3.0GBp/s, but the HP
drivers only enable SATA 1 1.5GPp/s).
