i tried the 6.57 driver both with and without Rosetta. I also tried
with and without the update that is also found on the Epson sight.
There doesn't seem to be any way to get it to work with CS4. I'm not
particularly knowledgeable in this arena, so I'm not sure why that
might be. However, one of the techs I spoke to told me that CS4 runs
only in 64-bit mode, and he thought that was the root of the problem.

The v6.57 driver install didn't require it, but the installers for the
premium profiles did (they're ancient PowerPC code). Thus Rosetta is
installed and running on my test system now, therefore I cannot tell
for sure whether the v6.57 driver requires it.
