I hope you're right. But I should point out that Epson does have an R2400 driver available on their site that is allegedly compatible with Mac OSX 10.6. It just doesn't work in any of the advanced printing modes. Perhaps
they did a better job with Windows 7.

Ah! That does make one pause to think. I will follow up with my experience.

On a side note, I have no ax against OS X. I've just experienced the
same "upgrade but issues" scenario over and over at work. There are
downsides with all options in this scenario and I hope Epson delivers
the drivers.

The current Epson drivers for snow leopard apparently do work with most software, The glaring exception is PSCS4. I'm waiting for an answer from Epson in regard to a fix for this. In the meantime, I'm back to 10.5.8 and printing without problems.
