Tom,
It is a matter of reaching the chain's buyer for camera gear.
Pentax has some relationship with Frys Electronics - a big box & huge
TV/Computer/Electronics/parts supplier.
(Many California locations, but they have one out by me in Chicago.)
They carry some of the DSLR's and P&S's.
But what is Pentax offering to help their products move off the shelves?
Is Aston Kusher advertising them on TV, Radio, or in Print. NO!!
So why should I let YOU take up valuable selling floor space in my store?
I could put a Canon P&S there and sell 3 times the dollar volume.
Regards, Bob S.
