Malik, unless that in your area the industry is mostly using the same software  
you are using, then it is still better to let them know about the file protocol 
preferably on the appropriate layer of your designs, i even put my mobile phone 
numbers on the mechanical layer. Most of these fab house cater for all in the 
industry, it can possibly for them to be familiar with myriads of file names 
for each software brand.
