Peircers,

I'm still working through the old wiki articles on the
Pragmatic Theory of Truth and related material on the
other theories, Coherence, Consensus, Correspondence,
etc. There was also much ado about the main article
on Truth that I may have the intellectual fortitude
to excavate at some point if it becomes compelling.

Here are links to my blog series so far, where I have
corrected incidental errors and added more references:

The last post I added mainly just to keep track of the current exchange
of comments, questions, and replies on the Peirce List. Jeff's questions
did prompt me to reflect a little on discourse situations I have known in
the past, the one surrounding the Pragmatic Theory of Truth being especially
interesting, stretching as it does across a space of many media and a time of
many years. In that interest, I assembled a few bits of data on the talk page
of the InterSciWiki article:

http://intersci.ss.uci.edu/wiki/index.php/Talk:Pragmatic_theory_of_truth

Poking around the Wikipedia article and its edit history,
I found that I added many long quotations from Peirce to
the original article and then apparently moved them to
its talk page at some point, so I copied the Wikipedia
talk page to ISW until I can get a chance to sort out
what pieces of it may still be of use.

Regards,

Jon
