----------------------------------------------------------- From: Dee Message 8 in Discussion Hi Willard, When I first found this message board 8 years ago, I was terrified and felt like most people that I was all alone in this. I was 50 years old when my macroadenoma was found and had no idea really what was going on. The people on this board are wonderful and if not for them I don't know what I would have done. Every persons story is different. We each go through our own difficulties but no one on this board will ever tell you what to do. If not for the wonderful suggestions of some of the people here, I would still be floundering around. It is true some of the stories are not as good as others and some outcomes are better, but no matter what we are all here for each other. The other advantage is that people from all over this country and others share their experiences to help. I know it helps me when I read other stories and feel it increases my knowledge about these tumors and what could happen. These tumors and the problems they cause are not fun to deal with and the experiences are not told to depress anyone but to find help or give help. Makes me wonder why anyone would say not to go to a site like this. Anyway, you must do what is best for you but remember this board is always here and so are the people that have helped you on it.
