Just remember that all of the pieces required to make it distributable and buildable must continue to abide by the license which Plucker is distributed under; the GNU General Public License. That doesn't mean that you have to have a GPL SDK, or give away those bits, but the parts you do happen to use, DLLs, image libraries, whatever else you use that happens to intertwine with the Plucker source code itself, must remain under the GPL. I'm sure there's interest in it, and many people have been asking for it for quite some time. "Release often, release early". Just take a whack at it, and see if it fits your needs, then offer it for others to try and use, and I'm sure you'll get some very valuable feedback.
