FWIW, I had the same sort of problem on my HE330 (Rom date 10/25/01).  In the end I 
had to delete 
the previous version of Plucker via the launcher's delete function, and remove all 
other traces of 
plucker-related files I could find (using filez).  After that, I installed the new 
version and it worked.  
The only thing is I can't delete a document that's stored on the CF card.

I had worse trouble with the emulator (using the same HE330 rom).  In that case I had 
to start with a 
completely new instance, in order to get it to behave.  I'm still in the process of 
adding back 
applications to see where the conflict is.

But once I got it installed, it's beautiful!
