Hi all,
Most of us have been using Linux for some time now. Some have been using
Linux for almost a decade. Some have just begun using Linux.
Whatever the length of time, we have different reasons for using Linux.
I'm curious about a few things, which maybe some of you might like to
answer for the benefit of the rest of us.
What got you started in Linux?
Who influenced you into using Linux, if any?
Where did you first learn about Linux?
How did you get your copy of Linux?
When did you first hear about Linux?
When did you actually use Linux for the first time?
When did you install Linux on your own 'puter?
Why did you decide to try Linux out?
Why do you still use Linux? or Why do you no longer use Linux?
What is your favorite thing about Linux?
Quite a number of questions here, but the last three are perhaps the ones
that will reveal the most interesting answers.
If your answer is quite lengthy, maybe you would prefer to send me your
answers in private email. I will probably come out with an article which I
will post to the list summarizing my findings.
