> What got you started in Linux?
myself, i was once lurking on the net and stumbled into some
text files about cracking and i found an OS that captured my attention, it
was linux.

> Who influenced you into using Linux, if any?
no one, back then people are so amused of those flying windows and i was
left encouraging
my friends to use linux but they refused..they decided to turn their back
with the source and
glorify the obfuscated doctrine of the evil redmond empire. ;)

now they are asking me to teach them linux, but i retaliated, i said read
the docs and RTFM.

> Where did you first learn about Linux?
at an internet cafe in recto, way back 1994. i used to rent there just to
surf coz i dont have net connection back then.

> How did you get your copy of Linux?
i borrowed a slackware cd with kernel 1.x.xx on it. it was my friends
but he wasn't able to install it properlly so i decided to borrow it and try
if i can.
at first it was hard, just like sex, hehehe...but after a few more tries, i
did manage to install it properly.

> When did you first hear about Linux?
i guess 1994

> When did you actually use Linux for the first time?
november 1994

> When did you install Linux on your own 'puter?
november 1994

> Why did you decide to try Linux out?
i hated using windows 3.1, and after i learned about linux, i decided to try
it out.

> Why do you still use Linux? or Why do you no longer use Linux?
linux challenges me everyday. and everyday i learned something from it. and
of course,
because it's FREE!

> What is your favorite thing about Linux?
robustness, flexibility, being able to customized everything and of course
the source, yes, the SOURCE!
may the source be with us!
