hey this is fun. i hope someone takes the liberty of colating the answer
to these questions and maybe we can place it in the plug website. let me
take the first dip.

shoestring budget.

-Dr. Manalastas (CS department)
-Mr. Vizcarra (Math department)

-while configuring the Internet gateway machine for the Dorms. i learned
as i went. i even reacall my first kernel compile which i had to repeat in
excess of 20 times because i keep on ommiting some vital things like
/dev/proc, PCI bridge, IDE controller and others. hehehe. let us just say
i learned the hard way.

> How did you get your copy of Linux?
-Mathematics Department. (my first copy)

> When did you first hear about Linux?
-while configuring the Internet gateway machine. this is about 1998.

> When did you actually use Linux for the first time?
-configuring the gateway machine was my first crack at linux.
-my desktop only converted to dual boot linux/windows at around 1999 after
Linux99.

> When did you install Linux on your own 'puter?
-personal computer? after linux99.

> Why did you decide to try Linux out?
-when i was forced to do so. due to financial constraints.

> Why do you still use Linux? or Why do you no longer use Linux?
-I still use linux. because linux gives me absolute control!!!

> What is your favorite thing about Linux?
-open source. the source is a great thing. i can play around with
some apps that i like and tweak others to suit my needs. the SOURCE!
