At least the above describes me. I may be atypical.
In my case, an email based system may be preferrable. I for one would not like to tie up my telephone unecessarily which would be the case for a purely web based system. Neither would my wife, for obvious reasons :)
But, as I note, I may be atypical and a web-based forum would be far better than none.
I would also be happy to share knowledge and assist in manning the forum.

There are at least a few who seem interested and willing to "man" the forum. This leaves me with just one more question in mind:

Will an email-based mailing list on lists.free.net.ph (with searchable web-based archives but no way to post mail over the web on its own) make sense? Or should we wait for someone to set up a purely web-based forum instead?
