Thanks for investigating. By disabling all plugins I managed to get 250 files to load in MC and that took a very long time. I guess this is not something for me after all... I noticed in MC that the album artist value was collected from SBS and put in the artist field for non VA albums (even though the track artist differed from the album artist). Multiple values for one field seemed not to be transferred (i.e. genre "Pop/Rock; Bonus Track" became "Pop/Rock" or "Bonus Track". To the year value -01-01 (i.e. 2003 => 2003-01-01) was always appended.
