"I was thinking that Brady, Claire and...," he cleared his throat slightly
again, "Miss Owens, might enjoy lunch in the dining room. I was thinking of
putting Milo and his daughter in the garden, they haven't had much chance
for privacy. If I were in his shoes, I believe that is what I would prefer."

Julia sat back with the distinct feeling he still felt guilty and managed
not to sigh with the weight of knowing she had burdened his soul, but she
did turn to the subject he was more ready to talk about and nodded "Yeah,
that would be nice for them but I'm pretty sure Clair and Brady would rather
watch or be nearby when I work on the computers.

"And," she slid him a look, hinted with dry humor "I can't protect you from
Miss Owens if you aren't where I can see you."

"Unless," she paused for a moment, raising a dark brow as the thought struck
her "you want to be alone with her?"

She turned her gaze forward, at the car Reese and Owens were in now
following Milo's.

Samantha grinned at her friend. "I'll turn them over if that what it takes,
though he seems to be a gentleman, I doubt he'd ask." Then the grin became
mischievous, "I do hope though, that he is not too much of a gentlemen."

Reese actually snickered "Something tells me you'd hand just about anything
over to him if he wanted."
