Do you have a G3 accel?  I emailed Sonnet to see if there might be an issue
with the bus speeds (doubt it).

empty or not, OS 8.1, 8.6, 9.1 or 9.1 with Cd extension from any of the
others, it's a no-go.  It does click in with a pretty solid "snick".  If a
CD is in the drive, it will spin.

I even pulled my HD out to see if it really as jumpered to master.
