Jim, Yes I tried that trick. Battery Amnesia won't even run with the power supply plugged into the PBook. Guess I have another desktop mac.

Plug power supply in, remove battery. Fire up IBR Answer the prompts until it tells you that you need to install the battery. Install the battery in the right-hand bay. Let IBR do it's thing.
