You can pick up a 45 watt AC adapter "Yo-Yo" off eBay cheap enough, and the
power cord is at Radio Shack for about $5.00. I've used Powerbook Duo AC
Adapters on the 1400 in the past without trouble. Rather than chopping up
the 5300 AC adapter, sell it on eBay to buy a new on for the 1400. ^__^
