acquired a PowerBook 1400/166C w/ a Vimage Vpower 233MHz G3.
... did not come with an AC adaptor. ... 1400's work with the adaptors from the 3400 and G3 models ?
Apple's AC adapter/Battery/Charger info page :
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=16168
Verifies the other replies ; 3400, thru Powerbook G3 series, and Duo AC adapters (w/ mentioned limitations)
Also, I was wondering if anybody knew where I could find some info on the processor upgrade? Unfortunately a Google search yielded very little. :-\ Mostly I'm wondering if this card needs a certain amount of ram, or drivers to work.
I checked Thomas Koons' 6400/ etc, site :
http://www.zone6400.com/index.html
as Vimage was the first to bring a L2 Cache slot, G3 to market, (actually Interwares made the card). Couldn't find any new links to specs/driver info, but you might send him an inquiry for any new links.
Also check xlr8yourmac :
http://forums.xlr8yourmac.com/cpureview.lasso ... choose PB 1400 and Vimage
This is all I found w/ a forum search
