I wanted to make something clear since this is a PCC list...
I *LOVE* my two PCC computers (A Power Computing Power 100 &
PowerCenter 132). They are great machines.
My only point was that except for the fun and play value, if
someone's finances are limited... It might not make sense to try to
upgrade some PCC Models to run MacOS X.
*IF* your machine is supported by XPostFacto, and you can get a G3/G4
Upgrade cheaply on eBay...
GO TO TOWN!!!
I would, it i could...
I often see my PC132 sitting in the corner of my bedroom, and get
nostalgic. It used to be my main computer AND my BeBox.
I think I might wipe it out and make it my BeBox again...
That would be a good use for it.
I really wish PowerComputing had stayed in business and come out with
laptops. I certainly would have bought PC Clones from them, had they
gone there...
It's a company that had style and good computers, and I miss them.
