We all want faster computers but we also want true comparisons on which to base our buying decisions, which is why leads such as the one above are important. I am posting below what I posted last night on another list.
The G5 looks very pretty and nice specks too.......not surprised they put it against existing PC kit that 's not optimised for top graphics work or am I wrong there? What about the out of kilter PC benchmarks, someone's telling porkies or pulling the parking break on me thinks! Anyway I notice they did not choose to compare latest Apple technology with latest PC technology......what about the Opteron CPU's which beats the pants off the Xeons and is shipping now and is 64 bit?
