Hi Alex

That was me asking Q's abut the minolta.

I have also been looking for reviews with a view to selling my nikon 4000
and buying the minolta instead. I have a great offer on my nikon, but I am
not selling till I can find out more about the new machine.

The down side is that if you have bulk, the minolta does not have a 50 slide
bulk loader, but other wise the specs do look impressive.

My thought was simply that this new machine must benefit enormously from the
3 years technology gap between it's launch and the launch of the nikon 4000
in 1999/2000 or whenever it hit the street. Does that make sense? The N is a
great machine, but my best guess is that the Minolta must be woirth a punt
at 600 GBP (inc VAt _ Jessops price)

If you find a review let me know!

I would plan to drive the machine with vuescan which supports other minolta
stuff so software is not really an issue.
