When I was able to stop laughing, <g> I had a look in the Prefs. There
are three, but only one relates to you as a User; it's called
com.apple.dock.plist and it's in User>Library>Preferences. It might be
an idea to try throwing it away; trouble is, you'll have to put
everything back in the Dock afterwards, I think.

I'm sure there's a Unix way of doing it easier, but I don't know it.

If you can wait that long, I'll ask on another list I belong to? Don't
know how long it'll take to get a reply though...
