Can anyone suggest how to diagnose the following problem?
I am running latest version of PS on latest OSX on G4 dual 1.2 processor with 768 mgb of ram. I have not yet partitioned hard drive. I am working on tiff files of 118mgb in PS. Every time I hit the save button the spinning beach ball appears and you know the rest. I cannot force quit and have to turn off the computer.
I have re-installed the software as well as running some 3rd party disk utility called Cocktail. The problem persists and I have run out of ideas short of panic.
I would be interested to hear of any advice which would obviously be much appreciated.
