I'd second that. I'd stay away from 3rd party utilities if I could. I'd
rather have a stable system, than a trash can on the desktop  :-))

In early versions, I used things like Tinker Tool and others (as early OSX
was a little lacking  :-(  However since OSX.2 I've tried to stay clear of
them. Certain ones certainly upset things.

PS I now quite like the trash can on the dock. At least you can always see
it, its not buried beneath a window.

PPS Have you checked out 10.3 preview on the Apple web site. A few finder
changes coming our way. Not sure if I like them all, but I'm sure I'll get
used to them. Others seem like the work of a genius, Expose for instance.
