snipI've finally given up on the LaCie D2 DVD recorder I bought a couple of months ago.
I bought this from Dabs.com who only offer refunds up to 28 days from purchase. As I bought this on a credit card, does anyone know whether I can get the money back for this pile of designer encased canine deposits?
Dear Paul
If this really is the situation then Dabs need to be ashamed of themselves. This is clearly a case of goods not of marketable quality and the sale of goods act entitles you to satisfaction.
Could you tell me if you brought your dissatisfaction to the attention of Dabs earlier, or have you only now told them of the problems? Certainly, as I posted the other day, you can demand satisfaction from the credit card company if Dabs play silly b***ers and I would immediately phone them to get them to log the fact that you are going to seek redress from them. This will probably put the wheels in motion in their getting in contact with Dabs , so a twin forked attack!
I would also contact Dabs's MD and tell him that you have brought the matter to the attention of the Prodig list, and that we will be watching with interest how they resolve this unsatisfactory situation.
Cheers
