Forewarned is forearmed. My suggestion doesn't negate Jonathan's method. He
already knows that works.

And you assume that architectural photographers never take portraits or
portrait photographers never take architectural photos. There is a lot of
cross-over. Even a portrait can contain diagonals! I have shot LOADS of
portraits that contain diagonals. Not all portraits are heads and shoulders
against a black/white out of focus BG.

Much more productive to "accentuate" the negative - it produces more
positive results by giving you the chance to eliminate the negative, or the
fifth elusive paw so that your cat doesn't look like Xavier's pet!  ;-))

When I was in theatre school learning stage management, our production
manager used to say, check everything before the show and then ask yourself
what can go wrong. It saved many a disastrous opening night.

May  the force fill your sails and blow you to a prosperous land of four
pawed cats � I remembered the Punjabi saying, after all!!!
