In the space of 24 hours I have heard two views regarding dust on the 1ds sensor.
In summary, the sensor seems to be very hard to clean properly and that, when enlarged considerably, dust in the corners and along the edges becomes visible. Apparently, this is NOT a problem with the 1d, nor with the 14n, both of whose sensors can be cleaned thoroughly. I am not sure if this is something that emerges over time. Anyone got any views on this? Apologies if this is old hat. I looked through the archive and couldn't find anything.
