>In the space of 24 hours I have heard two views regarding dust on the 1ds >sensor.
I have had a 1Ds for quite some time and yes it gets dirtier than the 1D. But the first thing I overcame was fear of cleaning the sensor. You have to be careful but I use sterile swabs, clean methanol, and lint free high tech glass cloths and have achieved almost spec free pictures even in the corners. I am very careful when I change lenses, always switching the camera off and doing the change very quickly. A well co-ordinated lens change can keep the sensor dust free for quite sometime. Dust is no longer an issue for me Kind regards Paul Hewitt Paul Hewitt Images 07812 099565 =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
