My questions are: How do you clean the 1DS sensor? Is it done through the front by raising the mirror or can the back be opened. How does Canon view this with regard to warrantee? How much does it cast to replace the sensor if you mess things up?

... and how expensive would it be to make the surface of the sensor "higher" than the rest of the area, enough to be allowed to simply drag the dust to the borders, just like the water from a pool. I hope I got it clear, it�s like having a glass surface larger than the sensor area, and the eventual dust will be out of the sight, even being still over the glass.
