I have not yet purchased a 1Ds, but am considering it. I may wait for the next upgrade as I'm getting great results with scanning film and transparencies. My questions are: How do you clean the 1DS sensor? Is it done through the front by raising the mirror or can the back be opened. How does Canon view this with regard to warrantee? How much does it cast to replace the sensor if you mess things up?
