Hi all, I realise there is no real answer to this but I'm hoping for a push in one direction or another. I'm now finally ready to purchase a 1ds,lenses etc etc etc... but I'm a little torn whether to hold out as I'm told that "there is bound to be a 1ds mk2 released in the next 3 months" or "nikon are bound to have something due any moment" I have heard great things about the 1ds and it will do all I ask of it (I mainly shoot stock) but obviously I don't wish to spend nearly �5,000 to find the price drops in 6-8 weeks or a replacement arrives for less money and is of higher spec- any advise ? Also I'll need a laptop,I run a 3ghz xp pro system at home so wish to stick with windows,Im not looking to retouch on it but I still want something with a good screen and graphics. Have heard sony vaio's are good for graphics but again any advise would be appreciated.
