It is a problem with the 14n /SLRn. It's an issue with full frame sensors.
With digital cameras with smaller chips the AA filter, or whatever is
infront of the chip, is oversised so dust a crud can be swept to the side
and be clear of the capture area. Full frame chips don't have this extra
area. So if any dust is left on the edge after cleaning it is in the capture
area.

This is how it was explained to me by the service dept at Fixation.
