Dear All, I would just like to clear something up here: Gicle is simply a 'fancy' name for inkjet. Gicle is not a different process to inkjet. For example, check out some of the latest ads from Epson relating to the 7600, "Gicle prints on demand". However, we can categorise the inkjet process to a degree, rather like photography; those who are good at it and those who aren't. On a final note, be careful using this term, especially when speaking to a Frenchman. 'Gicle' means spurt/squirt in French, so I'll leave it to your imagination with regard to the slang meaning that has arisen. If you are asked to produce a 1m x 1m 'gicle' print, you might be in for a pretty exhausting time... ;-) Best wishes, JL -- :: Jack Lowe Studio :: :: +44 (0)191 224 5150 :: =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
