If you are looking for quality and full managed colours, the very best of the French are Blanchard Printing, the web site is in French only but they are working with New Yorkers too.

Their regular costumers are Chanel, Kenzo, Vuiton and the bunch of luxury. They also printing fine art and photographer's books and colourful comics.
You may have a look at the B&W Depardon about the Olympic Games on the shelves.


They use the staccato weave, which requires 500 dpi files. Regarding colours they can match 2100 prints...

At least they are the lone printers using fully colour managed workflow in France.

I saw a lot of their books and I've been impressed. They might be expensive.
