Dear List,

Just got off the phone from 'technical support' at PhotoBox

http://www.photobox.co.uk/

Having had 30 odd prints returned looking like they have had all the colour
sucked out of them.

I was told that their procedure is to ignore the icc profiles and print the
files 'as is'. This was confirmed by me soft proofing the prints on my
calibrated LaCie22" with the Fuji Frontier LP2000 370 (the machine they use)
profile and ticking the box Preserve Colour numbers.

The results look just like the prints they sent me : Horrible !

PhotoBox suggested that they were not a professional lab, and that if I
required a 'professional lab' I should go to Metro.

Is it that much to ask for my icc profiles to be respected ?

Any comments from other PhotoBox users would be appreciated.

All the best,

David
