Hi Ricardo, I don't know anything about Acronis. Ghost 9 will split the image into suitable sized chunks for copying to a DVD or CD. DriveImageXML automatically creates blocks of about 650MB suitable for CDs. I do not know about burning direct to CD or DVD as I store them on a separate hard drive.
