Hey Stephen - thanks for that feedback. I know I've had at least one associate of mine in the recent past suggest I try and get into Silverlight development. So - I shall strongly consider it now...

It is very different from VFP as a warning. VFP is a combination of data engine and presentation layer all wrapped together. Silverlight is a presentation layer that expects data to come from somewhere else. Considering what you are thinking of presenting Silverlight might be a great idea because of what you can do with it. It is web presentation at M$ best today for DISPLAY. Is it easy to pick up? Well for some yes and a lot of others no. Why so hard? Because they had the HTML background and aspx web pages as a huge background. Silverlight is very different from that. Look to Jesse Liberty for some excellent direction on how to do anything with Silverlight. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer CIMSgts 901.246-0159 cell [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/289ea162f5642645b5cf64d624c66a1409df1...@us-ny-mail-002.waitex.net ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
