Ah, rooms. Protel will automatically create a room from each page of the schematic if you let it. This can really speed up manual placement if the schematic is logically organized.... With small jobs, single-page schematics, etc., rooms can be helpful for controlling component placement but that takes more work.... For the future, polygonal rooms would be a great development.
