I find the Print mgr very useful & reliable; you can carry PPC (Print mgr) files forward from one design to the next & reuse them, so I'm not sure what you mean about having to repeat the setup. My one complaint is that it insists on rebuilding all the previews whenever the slightest change is made. Similarly, an existing CAM mgr control file can be reused in a new design.
