I don't like the idea of any of these. IMHO, enough integration
already. Protel takes long enough to load and hogs enough
resources as it is. Unless it is directly in the path to a PCB, it
should be kept outside the Protel environment.
There's nothing be gained by putting a compiler into Protel if the
editor isn't up to standard and then you still have to get out of
Protel to program and / or debug the resulting code.
The same with version control & project management. It would be a
particularly useful thing to be supplied on the same CD (knowing
that it works with Protel), but if it is integrated, its usefulness for
everything else is diminished.
The way Camtastic is integrated is just right in my opinion.
