Most HTML e-mail is spam. Yet another misused, abused technology. Someday when nanotechnology is practical, you will wake up one morning and find that while you were sleeping, microscopic robots tinted the inside of your cornea with a semi-transparent ad. You will see this ad all during the day. The ad will state that for the low, low price of $$$$, your private parts can be enlarged, while you sleep, by the same nanotechnology that brought you this lovely ad! Actually, they will offer 2 enlargement "packages": the basic package is ad-sponsored - ads for various adult products will be on the surface of your parts. The deluxe package (more $$$$) is ad-free. And of course, the EULA states that you don't own the enlargement, it is leased for an auto-renewing period of 1 year, or 12 "liasons", whichever comes first. The EULA also states that there is no guarantee of "performance" or "suitability for a particular purpose". But how did these microscopic robots get into your body in the first place? Why, they were on the surface of that AOL CD you removed from your mailbox...
