Good, it sounds like you guys are aware of the issues and on top of it. The views I presented are mine, but they're also a reflection of the generation ASF policy on these things. Openness is probably the highest value at the ASF, and sometimes it clashes with practicalities such as wanting to hold an IRC or phone meeting a little bit, unfortunately.
BTW, I've used GoToMeeting in the past, it's nice and easy.
