Actually, no it's not. I've just discovered, like Darryl, that it's
running slower than it did at first. It's now taking about 11 minutes
for a 1000 iteration sim (2-ply) with 10 words in the kibitzer.
I'm thinking of solving the Maven problem by buying an old machine
with a pre-XP operating system. :)
