I've tried that too, drop down to about 40 on the A33 then take the
roundabouts at the same speed (having observed it's clear), however they
just catch up and get too close again.  I had a squashed smart car about 6
inches from my behind tonight (no exaggeration).  He eventually overtook on
a blind corner and had to go around some keep left bollards at a junction on
the wrong side!  I honestly thought he must have stolen it and be on the
run.  It seems to be like that most nights now.
