I seem to get tailgated a lot more in the Q than I do in the Focus for some reason. I put it down to people seeing a sporty looking car and expecting me to go faster.
The only way I've found that seems to have any affect is a wee bit dangerous to be honest. I dip the clutch and drop down a gear. With the clutch still in I'll just dab the brake sharply, as soon as I've done that I'll give it some throttle and bring the clutch up fast. The effect being to give the **** a fright, but ensuring that he doesn't go up the back of you. I wouldn't suggest that you do that yourself though :( Matthew wrote: > I've tried that too, drop down to about 40 on the A33 then take the > roundabouts at the same speed (having observed it's clear), however they > just catch up and get too close again.
