Hi all, I have a frustrating little problem that surely is simple to fix but googling about hasn't resolved it. I am doing some work on an older mac under OS 9.2. I have a licensed version of RB 4.5.2 and for what I am doing really prefer to stay with that. Unfortunately, at one point I downloaded the trial of RB 5.5.2. Tried it but 4.5.2 actually works better for me for what I am doing. I chose not to upgrade for this machine. However, now whenever I click on one of my RB projects it fires up the 5.5 version which I never licensed. How do I reassociate the rb projects with the prior version so that double-clicking will fire up 4.5 instead. As it is now I have to start up 4.5 then navigate to the project. For quite some time I have done this process and the annoyance has finally risen to the level to get on the list to see if someone can point me to the creator database to edit or what? Surely it's simple, but the google references were leading me to little utilities that let me set file types but didn't change the version of a program associated with the type... Thanks !
The Desktop database will associate with whatever one was last installed Reinstalling 4.5 would fix your problem Or delete the 5.5 version _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
