Change theme. RB on linux doesn't seem to be 100% theme aware.

Hi Norman, the List,

can we, after one year and a half, quantify why it was good to have an IDE developed with REALbasic ?

I mean, after time, not in general ("It is good generally speaking that...").

Cheers,

Emile

PS: why is it important to use the product to develop the product - and get in mind everyday facts, not general ideas - ?

For example, in Linux, the PushButton text is taller than the button height, FOR OUR APPLICATIONS. As a matter of counter- example, in the Linux IDE, this is also true. So why is it important for us that REAL Software use REALbasic to develop REALbasic ?

We don't ask for artificial limits, just good use of resources. RB is not a compiler-writing tool. The fact, that you write certain translators is ok - but the masses don't
do this.

"The masses" don't write compilers in any language.
Compiler developers are a small percentage of the overall developer community in any platform or language.
