That's a problem, raid is nice, but raid can't help with a "rm -rf /mymusic". I use manual rsyncing of the music repository, several times a week, but after a bad experience, here is an advice: - Before rsyncing your collection, make a flactest of the whole library and only synchronize if your files are perfect!! I found a bunch (around 10) flac files that were corrupted in both my master and backup discs. Hopefully, it was files I for which I still have original copies and I can rerip (and retag :( ). I would have been so worried to found corrupt files from albums I don't have anymore. -- vrobin ------------------------------------------------------------------------ vrobin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11705 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38688 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
