10pc DVD+R DL - £5.58 750GB Seagate - £105.39 Lets assume 8.4GB of usable data on the DL and 670GB on the hard drive (with formating and counting in base2 as opposed to base10) DVD+R DL = 0.56/8.4 = ~0.07 per GB 750GB HD = 105.39/670 = ~0.16 per GB So Dual Layer disks win out. but factoring burn times, you are probably way better off with another drive or two. It all depends on how much you value your time :) -- funkstar ------------------------------------------------------------------------ funkstar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2335 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38688
